女儿（今年预备班，也就是六年级）记忆力一般，又有着人类共有的劣根性——懒，自然就不会喜欢背英语，学英语。让我这个英语老师妈妈颇为头痛，总是想着怎么能提高她的接受度。想着应该“一天一点点”，润物细无声。为了也给自己一点鞭策，所以同时在网上发文，希望大家多多支持，一起进步。

形容词副词比较级和最高级Part I

构成

1)单音节形容词和少数以辅音字母 y, -er，-ow结尾的双音节词如clever；narrow：

a) 词尾加-er/-est；

b) 结尾有e，直接加-r/-st

c) 重读闭音节词词尾只有一个辅音字母（辅音 元音 辅音结尾，且为重读音节): 双写最后一个辅音字母，再加-er/-est。

d) “辅音字母 y” 结尾的双音节词，变y为i，再加-er/-est busy, happy, easy

2) 多音节词和部分双音节词：在词前加more构成比较级，加most构成最高级

a) 由“动词 后缀-ing/-ed”构成的形容词，如：interesting-more interesting，bored-more bored（甚至是单音节——tired, pleased)

b) 由“形容词 后缀-ly”构成的副词，如：slowly-more slowly，happily- more happily

3) 不规则的：

Our class is bigger than yours. （注意比较对象要一致）

The population of Shanghai is larger than that of Beijing.

I am a better swimmer than he (is) /him.

（than后主词的谓语动词往往省略, 非正式用法的than后的人称代名词可用宾格。）

注意：比较级形容词前可以被副词修饰，作程度状语。如a little/bit（一点）,much（得多）, even（更加）, still（更加）, far/a lot（...的多），twice（倍数）修饰, 但不可用very修饰。
