PREPOSITIONS OF LOCATIONS

• above – 在较高处 (见 “over”)
  “The plane flew above the clouds.”
• below – 在较低处 (见 “under”)
  “The divers went 100 feet below the surface of the ocean.”
• beside – 靠近，在…..旁边
  “There is a small table beside my bed.”
• next to – 紧靠着，就在侧面
  “Sam sat next to his boss at the meeting.”
• (in) between – 在两个物体中间，将其分开
  “She parked her car (in) between the two trucks.”
• behind – 在后面
  “In baseball, the umpire stands behind the catcher.”
• in front of – 在前面
  “There is a beautiful oak tree in front of our office.”
• in –在空间的内部
  “Is the ketchup in the refrigerator?”

注意:“In”通常描述一个地方或状况。要谈论运动，用into。例如，“She walked INTO the room.” into的反义词是out of。例如，“After five minutes, she walked OUT OF the room.”

• inside – 在空间内部
  “My father put our clothes inside his suitcase.”
