中央戏剧学院(中戏,The Central Academy of Drama)于1950年4月2日创建,坐落于北京市,由中国教育部直属,是中国戏剧艺术教育的最高学府,校名由*题写,前身是延安鲁迅艺术学院,是亚洲戏剧教育研究中心总部和世界戏剧院校联盟秘书处所在地,国家首批“双一流”世界一流学科建设高校。 该校是中国高等戏剧教育联盟总部、世界戏剧院校联盟国际大学生戏剧节活动基地,国家建设高水平大学公派研究生项目高校、国家“特色重点学科项目”建设高校、中国政府奖学金来华留学生接收院校。中央戏剧学院和北京电影学院、上海戏剧学院并列中国三大知名培养影视戏剧艺术人才的学校,俗称为科班。

The Central Academy of Drama (Central Academy of Drama) was founded on April 2nd, 1950, located in Beijing, under The direct administration of The Ministry of Education of China. It is The highest institution of education for Drama art in China. The name of The school was inscribed by Mao Zedong, formerly known as Yan 'an Lu Xun Academy of Arts. It is the headquarters of Asian Drama Education Research Center and the secretariat of the World Alliance of Drama Schools. It is one of the first "Double First-Class" universities with world-class discipline construction. The university is the headquarters of China Higher Drama Education Alliance, the activity base of the International College Students' Drama Festival of the World Alliance of Drama Schools, a university of national construction of high-level university government-sponsored graduate program, a university of national "characteristic key discipline project" construction, and a host institution of Chinese government scholarship for international students. The Central Academy of Drama, together with Beijing Film Academy and Shanghai Theatre Academy, is one of the three most famous schools in China for training talents in film, television and drama arts.
